ABOUT DAVID

David Henrie is an actor, writer, director, and producer whose work spans television and film, with over two decades in the industry. Beginning his career at a young age, he has built an extensive body of work defined by leading roles across major studio films, independent features, and network television, including his work on the Emmy Award–winning Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place and the hit CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother.

Expanding his work behind the camera, Henrie directed the coming-of-age feature film This Is the Year and the adventure film Monster Summer, starring Mel Gibson and Mason Thames, as well as directing for Disney’s Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.

He went on to create, write, and produce the Netflix animated series A Tale Dark & Grimm, an Emmy-nominated global success, and in 2025 created, produced, and hosts Seeking Beauty, a cinematic travel series filmed across Europe.

Henrie is the co-founder of Novo Inspire Studios, an emerging leader in premium, values-driven storytelling for a global family audience. The studio has produced over $50 million in content in the past three and a half years and continues to build a strong slate of projects in development.
